Beneath the feet of Toronto are the buried rivers that were paved over as the city was built. For one night we brought Garrison Creek, which flows under Christie Pitts park, back to the city using streams of blue light , sound, and conversations that imagined a different reality: What else has the city buried? The buried river serves as a potent metaphor for other buried narratives, marginalized voices and alternate realities of the city. The phantom of the Garrison creek transformed Christie Pitts park offering the audience a different futurism on the night of Nuit Blanche as it unearthed some of those buried narratives
The Installation was ranked among the top 20 exhibits by BlogTO https://www.blogto.com/arts/2019/10/nuit-blanche-toronto-2019/
